The architect we are looking for is someone with a deep technical background, who will act as a technology consultant to the team. Ideally, this person will have a lot of experience with PHP and JavaScript, understand the framework we are using (Yii) in depth, and also the operation of LInux, Apache, MySQL. After the initial pilot of the project, we will have to work on scaling, load balancing, optimizing the code or removing inefficiencies, and probably some other issues such as internationalization, caching, or transaction integrity. The architect must be able to assist and guide the team as needed in these activities to help us avoid costly mistakes.
